For all Horsemanship Camps:  Pick up and drop off are at The Nakamun Ranch which is located 1/2 mile up the road, north of the main Nakamun site.

Grade is based upon grade a camper is moving on from going into the summer of each camp year.  For example, Suzie is going into Grade 4 in the Fall, yet for camp, she will be considered Grade 3.

Our Horsemanship Program gives you the opportunity to learn and ride at your own skill level.  Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or expert, we will have a place for you!

Campers will learn riding skills, horse care and safety, horse anatomy, first aid, and hoof care.  There will be plenty of riding indoors and outdoors in our arenas and, of course, out on the trails!

Campers meals are catered to the ranch, and they stay in our new cabins also located on the ranch site.

Throughout the week, campers will get a break from the horses and will be taken over to the Nakamun Main Site for activities including zipline, King Swing, indoor pool, barge rides, and tubing.

*Our instructors are CHA Certified.

For each week, campers will be placed in skill related groups during the ranch activities. This will not effect your roommate requests.

Wondering what to bring?  Click here for a packing list.

Camps begin at 4:00pm and ends at 5:00pm.  Campers will be fed when they arrive, and before you pick them up at the end of the week.  Drop-off and pick-up are both at the Nakamun Ranch Site.
